MUHAMMAD ALI SAJID

URBAN RESEARCH FELLOW

 

Ali is a 4th-year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, finishing up a B.S. (Hons) Economics with double minors in Mathematics and Statistics. He is a recipient of the Lester B. Pearson International (full-ride) Scholarship and has received the Laidlaw Leadership and Research Scholarship from the Laidlaw Foundation for independent research in the past. He is currently working as a Research Assistant for Professor Elizabeth Dhuey, and as a researcher with the Reach Alliance housed at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. His research interests include applied microeconomics, econometrics, and international development. In addition to his academic work, he is engaged with student activism at the university as President of the Pakistan Development Foundation. He looks forward to exploring these topics through the urban lens as a podcast host on 'Cities Unmasked'.
